The graduates of the March 2003 Essence renovated a multi-purpose child care center in Ashdod.

The center is operated by the Welfare Department for the purpose of strengthening the ties between parents and their children.

The Essence graduates renovated the center, raised donations of equipment and new toys, painted the walls, repaired the shelter and turned it into a Jambori Room.

On 29 July, 2003 the graduates organized a day of fun for the families.
