... This is about an experimental project that has been going
on in Israel for the last 4 months. The seminar is run by volunteers,
the graduates of the Outlook Organization seminars. The project
is devoted to cancer patients. They are given positive reinforcement,
warmth and love, personal support, as well as alternative group
support of various types: meditation, healing, guided imagination,
energies. The seminar is coached by Tony Wiseman who started
the Outlook Organization in 1990 in England, and by Orit Josefi.
"The principal of 'Outlook' is to place a huge virtual
mirror in front of the participant and allow each participant
to view his/her life and to understand what he/she has caused
himself", explains Orit. During the Seminar, we cross restricting
barriers that we have ourselves created during our lives. Anytime
we reach a barrier, and cross it, it is behind us forever."
Outlook is by all means not intended specifically for sick
participants; rather for anyone wanting to improve their lives.
At the end of the seminar, each member agrees to participate
in a group project for the welfare of the community....
