"WE ARE ALL CHILDREN OF THE WORLD" Project - June 2003 Essence Graduates

On October 22, 2003, the Essence group of June 2003, which adopted the slogan "We are all children of the world", organized a "fun afternoon" at the "Kef-tzuba" Amusement Park at Kibbutz Tzuba for the children of the mult- purpose center at Katamon, Jerusalem as a continuation of their orginal project at that center.

The group succeeded in mobilizing additional people and donations in order to produce a fun day for the kids and their parents who are normally faced with daily hardships.

Kibbutz Tzuba very generously donated their facilities for the 75 kids, their families, and the Essence group, and for this we are very grateful. The site surroundings were exquisite, and to this we added a wide variety of refreshments that were generously donated by caring individuals - hot dogs, rolls, salads, sweets (and sweets to be taken home), drinks and last but not least a surprise hat and shirt for each child.

The atmosphere and mood were just tremendous, the parents and kids enjoyed every moment, and the group did everything possible to insure that the kids and parents have a pleasant experience.

The group teamwork was efficient and enjoyable - in fact, the group enjoyed themselves as much as the kids!
