Organization of a fun day for deaf children and others with additional handicaps, Kiriat Yoval, Jerusalem

The Essence October 2004 graduates took it upon themselves to organize a fun day that included active participation booths, guest appearances by a magician and clowns, a dance show and a catered meat meal.

The fun day was held on May 16, 2005 at the "All Israel are Friends School" in the Kiriot Yuval, a neighborhood of Jerusalem. The school teaches deaf children and well as other children with additional handicaps. They are aged from 6 to 21; both Jewish and Arab students learn together.

The purpose of the project was to cause happiness and fun for the kids whose daily routine is not easy. In addition, the project promoted cooperation between the Jewish and Arab youths.

As you can see in the pictures, the fun day exceeded all expectations; the children had a fantastic time.
